Mildly Flammable Refrigerants Quiz

With the recent passage of the American Innovation and Manufacturing (AIM) Act, and the coming HFC phasedown in the US, mildly flammable refrigerants (Class 2L) are required to meet Global Warming Potential targets and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. While mildly flammable refrigerants such as R-454B and R-32 cannot be retrofitted to non flammable refrigerant systems such as R-410A, the same types of best practices in use today will still be used with A2Ls. Stakeholders in the HVACR industry have been working together to handle A2Ls safely and there are already many millions of A2L systems in use in car AC, window units and PTACs around the globe. If you want to be ahead of this transition, we recommend to start with A2L trainings

Pro tip: many of the quiz questions are answered in the Getting Up To Speed on R-454B Podcast.
